Remembering when Jesus ascended to His Father on the 40th day from his resurrection, we come together to sit in silent open presence in the Presence of Christ and meditate on His ongoing ministry for us in the Spirit.

About the event
Ascension of the Lord Jesus Christ took place on the 40th day from His resurrection. This spiritually significant event demonstrates the exaltation of Jesus for His perfect finished work of redemption on our behalf and reiterates His grace of ongoing ministry in our healing, restoration, provision, empowerment, anointing, sanctification, and perfection.
We will sit in quietness and trust, guided into silent open presence cradled in the Presence of the Lord. We contemplate deeply the meaning of Christ's ascension and its direct immediate impact on us. We come to see the grounding of contemplation in the ascension of Christ.
We come to see Christ who continues His work of leading us into Father, our hearts ascending in the love of Son for Father in the Spirit. We also see Christ who continually pours out His love into our hearts by His Spirit. Contemplation is thus a faith-filled beatific vision of the glory of God, partially and proleptically while on this earth.
