Relieving World Hunger
Thu, 13 May
|Awarezen Room
We come together as a community of contemplatives in touch with our profound oneness in diversity and diversity in oneness. Our shared Being feels the anguish and devastation of our global communities suffering from hunger. This special meditation satsang honours and enacts this deep truth.

About the event
We will sit in quiet meditation following some opening remarks and pointing-out instructions. In silence and spaciousness, we enter into a dimension beyond agendas of the limited self and sense our deep interbeing as part of sacred but broken creation. In God's grace, we allow all things within and without to be remade anew in Love transcendent yet immanent. We dedicate our lives to compassionate and just concern for fellow human beings who go hungry. All of us are image-bearers of God who have intrinsic worth and dignity.
After about 30 minutes of meditation, we will share insights and reflections as a community. We will end the satsang with a benediction and prayer for ending world hunger This satsang is offered FREE of charge but we encourage all participants to fast (intermittently or for a full day) and donate (one-time or monthly) to the United Nations World Food Program each in their own way. You're warmly welcome to join us at Awarezen. RSVP below.
