Seemingly unanswered prayer is just that—seemingly unanswered. God hears and God answers. His impeccable answer may not fit our expectations. What is better or greater that He has planned for us may not even be manifest here and now, or in this corrupted mortal flesh, but it will surely come to pass.
Nor is it necessarily exterior or plainly obvious for others to see with eyes of carnality. What price is there to spiritual effulgence in the heart of consciousness, that though visible in one’s radiance and glow (without cosmetics or leather jackets), need not be tied to material accolades and carnal applause? Those who have eyes of Spirit shall see, and those who have ears of Spirit shall hear.
In the end, what is unsurpassably better and greater than anything is Christ Himself—the Best and the Greatest. When our prayers get fulfilled in our getting of Christ as our Treasure, what could be a better answer than That?
