Good Friday Meditation
Good Friday marks the day when Jesus was crucified and died on the cross in an act of unsurpassed sacrificial love. It is the day of reconciliation of humanity and God in the person and finished work of Christ. This meditation centres on contemplatively dying to contracted self in Christ.

About the event
The death of Jesus on the cross actualises the divine exchange of annihilation for life, darkness for light, falsity for truth, condemnation for forgiveness, despair for hope, delusion for enlightenment, brokenness for wholeness, guilt and shame for righteousness and reconciliation.
We sit in silent meditative adoration, scripture reading, personal prayer and conclude with benediction.
