About the event

Dzogchen or the Great Perfection (大圆满), widely seen as “pinnacle” of the Buddhist path to enlightenment within Tibetan Buddhism, has universal appeal and application. In this talk, Chris Kang, founding teacher of Awarezen in Singapore, will offer basic reflections on how we can approach Dzogchen in our view, meditation, and action. Avoiding both loose laxity and compulsive striving, we will explore ways of settling the body, speech, and mind in their natural states, resting within the view of pristine awareness (rigpa).

There will be two guided meditation sessions interspersed by a short Dharma teaching on the Great Perfection. There will be a chance to ask questions and participate in dialogue with the teacher, who will be teaching via Zoom from Singapore.

This event will be simultaneously livestreamed at Bodhi Chan while being offered online via Zoom. For those attending "live" at the Centre, please arrive by 10.00am AEST for mindful…
