Namaskaram.
We are now in the season of Advent, approaching Christmas with wakefulness and illumination in sanctified anticipation of the incarnation of the logos, Jesus Christ. The Christ incarnation happened 2,000 years ago, historically. But the incarnation also happens timelessly in the Now that is the "manger" of our being — here and together.
Pope Francis who turns 88 today has declared 2025 as a Jubilee Year with the theme “Pilgrims of Hope.” Awarezen issues an invitation to all to deepen and mature your contemplative practice in this Jubilee Year. We’re planning to offer in 2025:
1. Introducing Awarezen Lineage — A relaxed informal sharing and teaching on the spiritual roots of the unique Awarezen Lineage that blends streams of wisdom from Sutra and Tantra of the Buddha Dharma as well as Indic Shaiva Tantra within the primordial crucible of the cosmotheandric Christ. This is a prerequisite for Dzogchen and Mahamudra initiation as well as Tantric empowerment.
2. Nondual Tantric Empowerment — Awarezen's initiation into essential tantric practice through empowerments of enlightened body, speech, and mind and infusion of wisdom energy of bliss (shaktipat) for lifelong meditative practice. This is an entry-point into the Great Christic Consummation path of total awakening. Open also to those already on the Christic path as a maturing and deepening of their meditative experience.
3. Nondual Dzogchen and Mahamudra Initiation — Awarezen's introduction to nondual dzogchen and mahamudra where you receive direct pointing-out instructions on mind nature, essence, and effulgent display in a guided meditation session. This is an entry-point into the Great Christic Consummation path of total awakening. Open also to those already on the Christic path as a maturing and deepening of their meditative experience.
Dates and times are to be decided and can be arranged to suit both teacher and students. RSVP directly to me to express your interest with a brief description on:
(1) why you seek Dzogchen introduction and/or Tantric empowerment; and
(2) your previous meditation experience, what you are practicing now, and how your practice is going.
Blessed Christmas and New Year to all!
And Happy Birthday, Papa Francesco!
